‘Busting Loose From The Money Game’ Book of The Month July 2025

This book is absolutely NOTHING AT ALL like any book you are likely to find on the subject of money, it is more about a radically different way of perceiving reality!
If you are someone who is rigidly immersed in understanding the world through the left-brain academic lens of Newtonian physics, then this book review and this book will probably appear to be the rantings of a deranged lunatic. If on the other hand, you believe that you are an open-minded sceptic and you wish to test out your open-minded scepticism, then please read on.

In order that you don’t think that I have completely lost the plot or that I have been smoking some strange herbs, I suggest that before you read this book review, (if you haven’t already done so) that you watch some quantum science related videos about an experiment called ‘The Double Slit Experiment’.

  • Here British Quantum Physicist Jim Al Kalili explains the mind-bending ‘Double-slit Experiment’.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9tKncAdlHQ&t=10s
  • ‘The Simulation Hypothesis’
This docu – movie expands on the experiment and explains how the conclusions indicate that we most likely do live in a virtual reality.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pznWo8f020I&t=1270s
  • And in this video clip of Elon Musk being interviewed by Joe Rogan (who ironically did spark up a joint in this podcast) at ‘5.15 minutes in’ Elon Musk states “The argument that we live in a simulation, is quite strong!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cM690CKArQ
  • Just to prove that some of the most brilliant minds in the world believe that conceptually the hypothesis that we live in a simulation is completely rational. Here the brilliant Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson explains why he believes that the Simulation Hypothesis Theory has a high probability of being true …

The bottom line is that there is absolutely no point in you reading this book review, let alone you reading this book, unless you are open to the possibility that we may be living in some sort of virtual reality!

‘Busting Loose From the Money Game’ is neither theology nor fiscal manual, it’s a psycho‑spiritual reboot. It teaches not just a new mindset, but a felt transformation: see money as illusion, feel discomfort as fuel, reclaim everything, breathe abundance.  If you feel that you ARE able to be ‘a truly open-minded sceptic’ and ‘play full out’ about the virtual reality concept, then you open up the possibility of shifting both your mindset and your reality in ways nothing else can.

To discover if you do have the required level of open mindedness, my personal recommendation BEFORE you read this book is that you watch the above videos that I have recommended, if you haven’t already done so.
The concepts presented in this book challenge the most fundamental assumptions that most people have about our reality.

Does it work?
If you apply the principles set out in this book, does it enable you to ‘bust loose from the money game’?

Yes! I believe it works from my own personal perceived experience and the experiences of people I know who have applied it, however, I have 2  important caveats which are:

Caveat 1
It depends on your definition of ‘busting loose’ is. If your definition of ‘busting loose’ is like most people’s which is to have X amount of financial wealth, then this book and it’s philosophies will disappoint you!
Along the lines of the book, my definition of being ‘financially free’  is … “To have so little anxiety around money that it is barely significant!” A lot of people have anxiety around money because they perceive that they do not have enough, this includes some people who are broke, some people who have some money AND people who have assets worth many millions of dollars / Euros / pounds that create all kinds of anxieties for them, like people I have met who tell me that ‘Yes, I do have enough financial assets to not be stressed however, I am still anxious about losing my financial assets, or not knowing who I can trust because I have money or events that I cannot control, like a stock market crash”.
All of these people (probably 99.9 % of the world’s population, including the super wealthy) are caught up in a money game that cannot be won!

Caveat 2
So, if we assume that ‘busting loose’ means ‘no anxieties around money’, rather than ‘having a specified amount of money’, then it is early days for me. Whilst I have been practicing the philosophies set out in the book, which has pushed the boundaries of my ‘model of the world’ and whilst I have far from mastered the ‘busting loose’ mindset, 3 things have happened:
* I am more relaxed about finances than ever before, including the things out of my control like a recession.
* I started to FEEL financially wealthier by applying some of the exercises in the book.
* Once I started feeling financially wealthier, more money has started to flow towards me.
* As soon as I become ‘more attached’ from a place of ego to the ‘more money flowing in’ it inhibits the flow.

What’s the worst thing that can happen if you try out an outlandish life philosophy?
After watching videos and speaking with several people I know who have applied these types of ‘virtual reality mindset’ philosophies, I thought ‘What have I got to lose?’
The short answer is, ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’, if I play full out for 90 days, I can always reassess and go back to my old mindset.

The challenging gateway to the ultimate liberation!
Most people will find it challenging to integrate the radically different philosophy and mindset presented in this book. For most people, it will be challenging to do so because they will need to over-ride a lot of their neurological wiring and their philosophical model of the world that has been established over many years!
However, when you step into a philosophy that ‘(at some level) you have created everything in your reality’ it is profoundly liberating and empowering because in such a reality you cannot play the victim and you realise that you can change the current movie script in the movie in which you are starring!

For me personally, achieving a greater sense of purpose, flow and empowerment is one of the ultimate outcomes for personal growth and I have certainly experienced those in my journey of applying this new philosophy.

It is impossible to ‘play the victim’, or ‘stay angry’, or ‘be sad’ or ‘be fearful’ when you remind yourself “I created this situation!”

As my long-time readers will know I am inspired to try out the application of some of the most unusual and challenging philosophies because it helps me to fulfil one of my greater purposes which is to help people to grow greater purpose businesses and a greater purpose mindset.

I will be honest with you, for many people will seem like a jump too far, but if you do not entertain and test radical concepts such as those within this book, you will never know.  And for many people the key question is “What have you got to lose?” … you can always go back to how things currently are.

MY SUMMARY OF THE BOOKS CONTENTS
The first 5 Chapters of the book focus on ‘setting the scene’ and providing a framework from which you can begin to accept that this world MIGHT be some sort of simulation or virtual reality (Don’t forget to watch the videos I suggested at the start of this review). The author starts the book by telling us about his own profoundly interesting journey of moving from ‘money controlling so much of his life’ to ‘money simply being a mechanism that supported his life’ for which he had no anxieties.

I will now break the book down into the KEY STEPS and the KEY PROCESS ELEMENTS in the book and the LAYERS OF PHILOSOPHY that underpin the STEPS and PROCESSES to bust loose from the money game!

THE STEPS TO ‘Busting Loose from the Money Game’!

Step 1-APPRECIATION

(Jumping into the driver’s seat)
Inspiration is everywhere!
Be in gratitude for
-YOURSELF
-WHAT YOU CREATED,
-TAKE TOTAL OWNERSHIP THAT HAVE MAGNIFICENTLY CREATED EVERYTHING THAT EXISTS IN YOUR CURRENT REALITY!
-PRACTICE APPRECIATION FOR THE VALUE FROM YOUR bills and invoices as you pay them!
-YOU ARE ACTUALLY PAYING YOURSELF!
As you created those you are paying as you created the people and things in my experience!
Express appreciation, rather than just paying bills!
Imagine you are playing a gaming machine that gives you $3 back for every $1 expressed!
You must really FEEL the appreciation of paying bills!

Step 2- The PROCESS
(Turning the ignition and putting your foot on the gas)
Once you have developed this process, it should take no longer than 1 minute to execute (usually a few times a day)

Process Part 1
Dive into the middle of your money discomfort (eg ‘I have a $30k debt I don’t know how to deal with!’ or ‘Where is my next contract coming from?’)

Feel the discomfort – FULL ON!
There is power here in this discomfort!
The greater the discomfort the greater the power that lies within!
Immerse yourself ideally with your eyes closed.

Process Part 2
Feel the discomfort energy FULLY
 – escalate the intensity.

Embody the discomfort
Embody that none of it is real
The more you feel it the more power you can reclaim! (No thinking – just feeling)

Process Part 3
‘Tell the truth about it’ when it reaches high intensity levels!

The truth is … “I am creating this and it is NOT real!”

You affirm who you really are … ‘It’s NOT REAL!’

Examples to use – say out loud and FEEL ownership of;

a-    I am the power and presence of god, creating this (the thing I have discomfort for), it’s NOT real, it’s completely made up, it’s a creation of my consciousness! (Quote From Arnold Pattern)

b-    I am the power of infinite intelligence

c-    I am the power of pure consciousness

d-    I am an essential component of the ultimate power in the universe

Process Part 4
Reclaim Power and re-affirm the truth (it’s
 all a hologram)

Say, feel and own:“I reclaim my power from this creation NOW!”

“As I reclaim my power, I really feel it flowing back to me!”

“I feel it surging through me! I really feel it surging through me!”

Process Part 5
Feeling the ultimate energy!

Open up more and more to who you really are!
Ask these questions and FEEL the answers:
What would it feel like if I had ultimate power wisdom and abundance?
What would it feel like if I could just snap my fingers and summon any transcendent Infinite flow state (Fulfilment, inspiration, Enthusiasm, Creativity, connection to the divine, unconditional love)

The object of the exercise is to REMEMBER the infinite being you ARE!

Process Part 6
Express Appreciation!

“I am grateful that I created this illusion that is ‘not real’ illusion, it shows what a magnificent creator I am. I am now ready to move to another creation.”
FEEL your new creation as if it has already happened (transmit your new vibration).  Do so with gratitude!

KEY LAYERS OF PHILOSOPHY (to bust loose)

These layers incorporate and add to the process I have summarised above:

LAYER 1 (Phase 1)
The Central Shift: Money Is the Gateway, Not the Destination
At its core, Scheinfeld invites us to view money not as the end—but as a portal into a deeper realm of consciousness. The “Money Game” is a microcosm of a much grander “Human Game,” a psycho‑spiritual experiment. In *Phase 1*, we unconsciously create lives of scarcity, convincing ourselves money is scarce, external, and vital—only to become experts at managing lack.  But as he declares:
“You can become better at playing the game… but you can’t win. Because the Money Game is designed to be unwinnable” ([scheinfeldbooks.com][2]).

This direct, almost adversarial framing mirrors Lobo’s insistence: if you’re tethered to the system’s rules, you’re anchoring your own cage. It’s not about skills—it’s about paradigm.

Layer 2. (Phase 1)
Phase
1: The Illusory Cage
Scheinfeld traces Phase 1 from childhood learned programs usually found in your subconscious:
“money must be earned,” “there’s never enough,” “keep saving, keep chasing.” “Money doesn’t grow on trees!” etc.
These beliefs are not neutral they actively shape our “hologram,” the mental‑emotional simulation we live in. These illusions are multi-layered: beliefs, judgments, consequences, all anchoring power outside our conscious awareness.

This is a world of cause-and-effect: work → money → security. Logic, intellect, and metrics rule. But the book questions whether this mode is enough, or whether it’s covering up an entire structure of inner surrender.

Layer 3. (Phase 2)
Phase
2 The Great Reclamation
The pivot happens when discomfort stops being a signal to “fix things,” and becomes a beacon: “This is where your hidden power lies.” Scheinfeld calls discomfort a ‘gift’ a route back to your own energy.

Phase 2 is the mirror-opposite of Phase 1. Rather than tries and schemes, this is about alcove-like noticing: what is rising in me, what feels tight—what’s showing me where I’m still surrendered.

Rather than chasing butterflies this is about standing in your own authentic beauty like a flower and the butterflies will come to you.

Layer 4. (Phase 2)
Using he Core Tools
‘The Full Process’
(as already outlined above which takes around a minute after practice) & ‘The MiniProcess’ (A very quick version of the process you can do in a few seconds)

Scheinfeld gives two essential tools to work the reclamation:

The Full Process (for strong discomfort as above)

  1. Feel the emotional energy FULLY and without judgment or analysis.
  2. Acknowledge it’s a creation of yours.
  3. Own it: “I created this.”
  4. Reclaim the energy: “I reclaim my power from this now.”
  5. Viscerally feel the shift: “I feel the power surging back.”
  6. Appreciate the illusion that served its role!

The MiniProcess (for lighter awareness)
A seven-step micro-version—same principle:
“Identify, recognize, reclaim, feel, and appreciate!”

These are not mental arguments—they’re emotional excavations. note: “consciousness is not persuaded—it is walked home.”

Layer 5. (Phase 2)
Rebuilding Your Relationship with Money

Once you engage, money and abundance begin to feel like breathing: automatic, effortless, unmeasured. In Phase 2, you don’t hustle to make money you ARE money as consciousness. Spending becomes an act of appreciation, not loss or fear!
The crux:
‘Your abundance never came from external institutions it always came from the Field, from an infinite source!’
Money becomes a byproduct of a totally different operating system.

Layer 6. (Phase 2)
Whom (or What) We Really Play With

One provocative idea: everyone in your life is a character in YOUR hologram (your simulation). They hold no real power beyond what your consciousness allowed this is a very challenging concept to get your head around and the author provides a lot of support and guidance in integrating this concept.
The entire concept of ‘Conflict’ is reframed: it’s not about fixing others; it’s about owning your projection and reclaiming your internal landscape!

In Phase 2, you engage life not as a causal battlefield, but as a live performance you’re shaping from the inside out. Other people still play their roles, but you’re not attached to their actions because nothing is REAL outside your creation.

Layer 7. (Phase 2)
Strange but True: Weirdness as Ally

Scheinfeld warns once you start rejecting the hologram, weird things might happen glitches, synchronicities, odd coincidences. These disrupt perceived REALITY and remind you, all of this is holographic foam.

This is akin to stepping into a lucid-living experiment: rare, often jarring, but deeply clarifying.

Layer 8. (Phase 2)
The Busting
Loose Tipping Point

Scheinfeld describes this as your personal “Busting Loose Point”—a threshold where you’re no longer bound by scarcity. You don’t merely *say* money is abundant—you live from that vantage, moment-to-moment.

Once here, everything looks flexible. Money may still appear—through business, luck, job—but you *know* it’s coming through Field-force, not external causality. That knowledge frees the mind. That knowing aligns with hunger for not just insight, but *embodied capability*.

Layer  9. (Phase 2)
Why This Matters Now

In a world overwhelmed by hustle culture, zero-sum financial mentalities, student debt crises, and endless side-gig pressure, Scheinfeld’s approach is a radical exit strategy—an exit from the need to grind, from believing your worth lives in numbers ([scheinfeldbooks.com][2]).

It’s, frankly, bubbling with the same energy and concrete clarity that draws from deep. Yes, it’s quantum‑fringed, but its test is simple: does it *free* you?

Layer 10. (Phase 2)
THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION
What You Actually Do, Step by Step …

  1. Build Your Awareness & Feel to Read a story or situation and notice when you feel a contraction, like “I can’t afford that,” “What if I fail?” etc
  2. Apply Full or Mini Process as soon as you feel ‘money discomfort’. Feel it, own it, reclaim it, appreciate it.
  3. Watch your consciousness recalibrate. You start choosing from inspiration rather than obligation.
  4. Appreciate your creations the restaurant meal, the paycheque—not as goods, but as signs of your freed energy.
  5. Expect odd experiences – luck, facilitation, unnatural ease as evidence your awareness is shifting.
  6. Choose moment to moment, not driven by future fear or past regret, but by ‘what am I inspired to do right now?’
  7. Live money like breath – trust that flow, spend as appreciation without anxiety.

Layer 11. (Phase 2)
Subtle Thread: Gratitude, Appreciation & Vitality

Gratitude isn’t fluff, it’s fuel. You appreciate each breath of your creation, each purchase, each relationship. This vibration loops back: from thanksgiving emerges creation. You’re not trying to create; you’re allowing flow.

Layer 12. (Phase 2)
Caution: Not Always Easy, Never Instant

Scheinfeld repeatedly cautions: Phase2 takes time. Expect disorientation, weird effects. You might re-enter Phase1 unconsciously but each time you use the Process, the illusion loosens faster You’re not fixing something broken—you’re dismantling a false structure.

It’s spiritual work, emotional excavation not just reading.

Layer 13. (Phase 2) Why People Love It… and Why They Resist

Admirers report breakthroughs debt clearing, intuitive financial moves, inner calm. One Redditor proclaimed it “the most important manifestation book I have read yet”.

Those who are overly sceptical resist the language “it’s not real,” “weird stuff happens.” For them, the metaphors don’t hold they keep expecting external cause-and-effect. That friction often shows you where you’re still playing Phase1.

Layer 14. (Phase 2)
In the Lens: What Matters

CLARITY: Scheinfeld’s trio of mechanical ideas (illusion, power reclamation, inspired living) is crisply laid out.
DEPTH: It doesn’t preach positivism. It’s spiritual work.
CHALLENGE: You’re called to FEEL the shift, NOT JUST THINK IT. Challenge meets embodied test.
UTILITY: It’s not for budgeting advice. It’s for internal revolution.

Layer 15. (Phase 2)
Final Take: A Radical Inner Orientation

If you’re ready to dive into your own internal architecture, its structures and soft spots, this book offers both instrumentation and permission. Use it. Because in Scheinfeld’s words “you didn’t come here to be smaller.”

Please let me know what you think of this review and the book itself—I’d love to hear your thoughts.

P.S. I’ll soon be sharing a video with you titled ‘Your Wealth Frequency Calibration’, which aligns with many of the philosophies discussed here.
